Oli spends his life turning wild food ideas into reality, feeding the masses and sharing his burrito obsession one wrap at a time.


How did you turn your passion for food into a full-time career with millions of followers?

“I decided that since I’m spending all of my free time in the kitchen anyway, I may as well start sharing it online and see what people think of it! A thousand hours of “work” later, I was able to monetise it to the point where I could quit my job and do it full time.”

If your life wasn’t all about cooking (and family) and social media, what would you be doing?

“If it wasn’t all about the cooking, social media, and family I’d probably be a nomad, travelling the world to eat every bit of interesting food I could, ski in the winter and water sports in the summer!”

What’s the best burrito you’ve ever eaten – that wasn’t yours, and why?

“The best burrito I’ve ever eaten was probably the one I had in Mexico when I was 13 that started my spiral into burrito obsession! Would it hold up to my standards today? Who knows, but food is almost as much about the memory and moment than the taste.”

What are you working on at the moment?

“I had a few too many businesses on the go behind the scenes that I realised were going to occupy too much time that I simply don’t have, so for now, it’s just continuing to entertain and live my life!”
